One of our customers, Lyndsey, had a great idea for a party.  Since she and some of her friends were each about to move out of Ann Arbor, scattering to cities across the United States,  Lyndsey decided to host a Fairy Door Painting and Decorating Party.

The ladies purchased the DIY fairy door kit, brought their paints, wood stains and embellishments to Lyndsey’s house and spent a fun night creating unique fairy doors to compliment their new homes.  Take a look and be inspired.  What a great way to give each other a send-off and to create a memory of their years together.

I’ve been having a little fun with my felt scraps.  Just experimenting with what I have on hand to make my girls some new hair pins.

What a busy past couple of months!  We have all kinds of exciting news and fun new projects to share with everyone this spring.

We’ve kicked off the year in a big way with filming a TV segment for a new PBS show, It’s Sew Easy.  The episode will feature our wool felt baby grab ball. Remember those from childhood?

It was an amazing experience to be on TV and to meet the other designers who were filming with us.  Check out the studio!  More details on the show coming your way soon.

We just watched 15 Fresh Handmade Gift Ideas. (repeats Dec 3rd 2pm EST)  We are thrilled with the results and how the wool felt rosette pillow was showcased.  It was on the sofa in the background for most of the show and then had a little bit of info on the kit during the Handmade Kit section of the show.
