Materials List For the Uptown Handbag

Allow extra yardage for matching or centering a design on your fabric.
* 1/2 yard of 44” wide light to mid-weight fabric for the Exterior
* 3/8 yard of 44” wide light to mid-weight fabric for the Lining
* 1/4 yard of 22” wide single-sided fusible Peltex® by Pellon® or a similar extra heavy stabilizer
* 1 yard of 20” wide heavyweight sew-in interfacing (we use Pellon® 50)
* 3” of 3/4” sew-on Velcro * 1 sheet of 12” wide x 18” long extra thick Template Plastic from Prim-Dritz™ found with the quilting supplies OR 1 piece of 1/8” thick heavy pressed cardboard (you can use the back of a writing pad or purchase “chipboard” from an arts supply store.)

* 2 (size 1 1/2”) large buttons to cover from Prym-Dritz™ * 2 (size 1”) sew-on craft backs and/or hair barrette backs
